Resources

 ACC and Netball New Zealand have developed several resources for coaches, players and umpires that are designed to help enhance performance and prevent injury.

NetballSmart Wallet Card (PDF 1.9M)

A fold out resource for players that contains information on warm-up, cool-down and recovery, injury management and hydration and nutrition.

NetballSmart Posters (PDF 1.6M)

A set of four A3 posters that show netball specific exercises for warming-up and cooling-down.  Useful for displaying at netball centres and clubs.

NetballSmart for Coaches Booklet (PDF 1.1M)

This resource has been developed for netball coaches and provides important information for enhancing player performance and preventing injuries.  The prinicples outlined should be taught to all players and integrated into all practices and games.

NetballSmart for Umpires Booklet (PDF 1.1M)

This resource has been developed for umpires and provides information on good technique.  Good technique is important for reducing the risk of acute and chronic injury

Injury reporting Form (PDF 67K)

Injury reporting is about gathering information to learn how and why injuries happen and to find ways of preventing them from happening again.  This form can be used to record injuries to individual players to help identify trends for both individuals and the team. 

Player Profiling Form - Junior (PDF 54K)    Player Profiling Form - Secondary/Senior (PDF 55K)

Player profiling enables coaches to assess the health and fitness of players pre-season.  Follow-up player profiling can be used to assess improvements in players throughout the season or assess if a player is fit to return post injury.
